1. Introduction

This versatile L-shaped desk is designed for home and office environments, offering ample workspace, an integrated monitor stand, and a tiltable drawing board for various tasks.

2. Safety Information

• Always assemble the desk on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
• Ensure all parts are present and undamaged before assembly. Do not use damaged parts.
• It is recommended that two adults assemble this desk for safety and ease.
• Tighten all screws and bolts securely, but do not overtighten to avoid stripping threads or damaging components.
• Keep small parts away from children to prevent choking hazards.
• Do not stand or sit on the desk.
• Distribute weight evenly across the desk surface.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.

Step 4.1: Unpack and Identify Parts

Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a protected surface. Identify each part using the provided labels and the parts list.

Step 4.2: Assemble Individual Desk Sections

Assemble the two main desk sections (the computer desk side and the drawing table side) separately before joining them. This approach simplifies the process, especially for the corner connections.

Step 4.3: Attach Metal Frames to Desk Panels

Secure the metal leg frames and support bars to the underside of each desk panel using the provided screws. Ensure all connections are firm.

Step 4.4: Install Corner Bolt (Crucial Step)

Before joining the two desk sections, locate the specific corner bolt that connects the main L-shaped frame. Install this bolt into its designated position on one of the desk sections. This bolt may be difficult to access once the sections are fully joined.

Step 4.5: Join the Desk Sections

Carefully align and join the two assembled desk sections to form the L-shape. Secure them together using the remaining corner bolts and connectors. Ensure all metal crossbars are level and flush with the top of the frame for proper tabletop support.

Step 4.6: Attach Monitor Stand and Side Shelves

Mount the monitor stand riser onto the main computer desk section. Install the side storage shelves as indicated in the diagrams.

Step 4.7: Final Tightening and Inspection

Once fully assembled, gently shake the desk to check for stability. Retighten all screws and bolts if necessary. Ensure the desk is level on your floor.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Using the Tiltable Drawing Board

The drawing board section features a solid lifting mechanism with 12 adjustable settings. To adjust the angle:

1. Gently lift the front edge of the drawing board.
2. The support mechanism will engage, allowing you to select one of the 12 predefined angles.
3. Lower the board until it locks into your desired position.
4. A sheet stopper is integrated at the bottom edge to prevent papers or tools from sliding off.

5.2 Utilizing the Monitor Stand Riser

The integrated monitor stand riser elevates your display to an ergonomic height, promoting better posture and reducing neck strain. Place your monitor(s) directly on the riser.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the desk surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish. The desktop is designed to be waterproof and easy to clean.

• Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
• Avoid Excessive Heat/Moisture: While the desktop is water-resistant, avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat or moisture to preserve its longevity.

7. Troubleshooting

• Desk is Wobbly: Ensure all screws and bolts are fully tightened. Check that the desk is on a level surface. Adjust leg levelers if present.
• Parts Not Fitting: Double-check the assembly diagrams and ensure you are using the correct parts for each step. Some parts may appear similar but have subtle differences. Refer to Step 4.4 regarding the crucial corner bolt.
• Drawing Board Not Adjusting Smoothly: Inspect the lifting mechanism for any obstructions. Ensure the board is clean and free of debris.
