Maintenance
1. Battery Care
To maximize battery life, avoid overcharging and completely draining the battery. Under normal circumstances, a full charge can last 8-96 hours, with continuous use up to 8-12 hours. The actual time depends on usage frequency. Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
2. Cleaning
Wipe the radio's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the radio is dry before charging or using.
3. Storage
Store the walkie talkies in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for long periods.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your pxton Walkie Talkies, try the following troubleshooting steps:
- No Power: Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly installed. Check if the power knob is turned on.
- No Reception/Static: Verify that all radios are on the same channel. Check the antenna connection. Move to an area with fewer obstructions.
- Poor Audio Quality: Adjust the volume. Ensure the earpiece is fully plugged in if used. Check for obstructions around the microphone or speaker.
- Limited Range: Obstructions like buildings, hills, and dense foliage can significantly reduce range. Try moving to a higher or more open area.
