1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the DuoTen Shower Speaker F023. This portable Bluetooth speaker is designed for use in wet environments, featuring IPX7 waterproofing, an LED display, and a colorful light show. It also includes FM radio functionality and True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing for an enhanced audio experience. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper operation and longevity of your device.

3. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the speaker's components and controls:

• Power On/Off Button (⑂): Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to control LED lights.
• Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, FM Radio, and AUX modes.
• Play/Pause/Answer/End Call Button (⏸): Short press to play/pause music or answer/end calls. Long press to reject a call.
• Next Track/Volume Up Button (⏭/V+): Short press for next track. Long press to increase volume.
• Previous Track/Volume Down Button (⏮/V-): Short press for previous track. Long press to decrease volume.
• LED Display: Shows time, mode, battery level, and volume.
• Microphone: For hands-free calling.
• Signal-enhancing Antenna Port: For connecting the external radio antenna.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a 5V USB power adapter (not included).
3. The LED display will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power On/Off button (⑂) for 3 seconds. The speaker will emit a sound and the LED display will light up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power On/Off button (⑂) for 3 seconds. The speaker will emit a sound and the LED display will turn off.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by 'BT' on the LED display). If not, short press the 'M' button to switch modes.
2. On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "DuoTen F023" from the list.
4. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation tone.

5.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

To achieve 360° surround sound, you can pair two DuoTen F023 speakers together:

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet connected to any device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the Power On/Off button (⑂). The speaker will search for another DuoTen F023.
3. Once paired, both speakers will emit a confirmation tone.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.1. Audio will play through both speakers.

5.3 FM Radio Operation

1. Insert the provided radio antenna into the designated port on the side of the speaker. Extend the antenna for better reception.
2. Short press the 'M' button to switch to FM Radio mode. The LED display will show the frequency.
3. To auto-scan and save available stations, press and hold the Play/Pause button (⏸). The speaker will scan frequencies and store stations.
4. To switch between saved stations, short press the Next Track (⏭/V+) or Previous Track (⏮/V-) buttons.

5.4 LED Light Modes

The speaker features 7 colors and 5 lighting modes. Short press the Power On/Off button (⑂) to cycle through the different light modes.

5.5 Call Function

• Answer/End Call: When a call comes in, short press the Play/Pause button (⏸) to answer. Short press again to end the call.
• Reject Call: When a call comes in, long press the Play/Pause button (⏸) to reject the call.

6. Mounting Options

The DuoTen Shower Speaker F023 offers versatile mounting options:

• Suction Cup: Attach the removable suction cup to the back of the speaker. Press firmly onto any smooth, flat surface like shower tiles or glass. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for optimal adhesion.
• Carabiner Clip: Use the included carabiner clip to hang the speaker from a hook, backpack, or other suitable attachment point.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Water Resistance: The speaker is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing to water.
• Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the speaker is charged. Connect to a power source using the USB-C cable.
• No Sound: Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is properly paired via Bluetooth.
• Bluetooth Pairing Issues: Make sure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Turn off Bluetooth on other nearby devices to avoid interference. Try unpairing and re-pairing the speaker with your device.
• Poor FM Radio Reception: Extend the external antenna fully. Try moving to a different location to improve signal strength.
• TWS Pairing Failure: Ensure both speakers are fully charged and not connected to any other Bluetooth device before attempting TWS pairing.
