3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Initial Display Unit Setup
- First Use Charging: Before initial use, plug in the USB cable and hold the right-hand side button to switch on the display. Charge the unit for at least 2 hours.
- Automatic Brightness: The display features automatic brightness adjustment. During the day, when light hits the solar panel, brightness increases for better visibility. At night, brightness lowers to reduce distraction while driving.
- Motion Sensor: The display will automatically turn on when the vehicle is in motion. When parked and no motion is detected, the display will turn off to conserve battery.

3.2 External Sensor Installation
Install the sensors according to the name mentioned on each sensor (FL: Front Left, FR: Front Right, RL: Rear Left, RR: Rear Right).
- Unscrew the original valve cap from the tire valve.
- Screw on the anti-theft nut (if using) onto the valve stem.
- Screw the corresponding sensor onto the valve stem until it is hand-tight.
- Tighten the anti-theft nut against the sensor using the provided wrench to secure it. Rotate the screw anti-clockwise to tighten.
Note:
- The sensors can be used without the anti-theft screws, but ensure they are securely tightened to prevent them from falling off.
- After installation, the display unit will show the tire pressure and temperature readings.
- Ensure your vehicle has original copper valves. Some duplicate aluminum valves may not be compatible or may cause issues.

3.3 Display Unit Mounting
- Before attaching the display to your dashboard, clean the area with a wet cloth to remove any dashboard polish. Allow the area to dry completely.
- Peel off the protective film from the double-sided tape and attach it to the bottom of the display unit.
- Firmly press the display unit onto the cleaned dashboard area.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Real-time Data Display
Once the sensors are installed and the display unit is powered on, it will show real-time tire pressure and temperature for all connected tires. The larger digits typically represent tire pressure (in PSI or Bar), and smaller digits represent tire temperature (in °C or °F).

4.2 Switching to 2-Tire Mode (for Bikes/Scooters)
The Skyshop C240 Prime TPMS can be configured for 2-tire vehicles like bikes or scooties. This setting is available in TPMS units sold after July 1, 2025.
- Hold the center button on the display unit until the settings menu appears.
- Navigate through the settings by pressing the center button until you reach the tire count setting (it might show '05' for 5 tires initially).
- Press the left button to change the tire count to '02' for 2 tires.
- Hold the center button again to save the setting and exit.
- Once set to 2 tires, you can remove the car's front and rear sensors and screw them onto your bike or scooty tires (FL for front, FR for back).
Note:
- The display can be kept in a bag, pocket, or under the seat (dikky) of your bike/scooty. It will still alarm in case of low pressure or puncture.
- To switch back to 4-tire mode for a car, repeat the process and change the tire count to '05' (for 4 main tires + 1 stepney) or '06' (for 4 main tires + 2 stepney/traveler car).

5. Maintenance
5.1 Sensor Battery Replacement
The external sensors use replaceable CR1632 batteries, which typically last 1.5 to 2 years. To replace a sensor battery:
- Use the provided wrench to unscrew the sensor cover.
- Carefully remove the old CR1632 battery.
- Insert a new CR1632 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Replace the sensor cover and tighten it with the wrench.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Skyshop C240 Prime TPMS, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Solution / Relevant Information |
|---|---|
| Pressure reading mismatch with air filling station. | The TPMS sensors use German chips for high accuracy. If there's a mismatch, test your tire pressure with 2-3 different air filling machines. If doubt persists, contact customer support for clarification. |
| Tire pressure changes significantly with temperature. | Tire pressure naturally decreases in cold weather and increases in hot weather. This is normal. Adjust tire pressure to recommended levels when tires are cold. |
| What is the accuracy of the TPMS? | The TPMS is tested and passed with ±1 PSI accuracy. |
| Sensor is lost or damaged. | Spare sensors are available at affordable rates. Contact customer support for replacements. |
| Display not turning on or showing readings. | Ensure the display unit is fully charged. Check if the motion sensor is active. If issues persist, contact customer support. |
