1. Introduction

The Kask SC3 Orange Ear Defenders are designed to provide effective hearing protection in noisy environments. 4. Setup

Follow these steps to properly attach the Kask SC3 Ear Defenders to your compatible helmet:

1. Identify Mounting Slots: Locate the accessory mounting slots on the sides of your KASK Super Plasma or Zenith helmet. These are typically near the temples.
2. Align Adapters: Take one ear defender and align its helmet mount adapter with the corresponding slot on the helmet. Ensure the adapter is oriented correctly for a secure fit.
3. Insert and Secure: Firmly push the adapter into the helmet's mounting slot until it clicks into place. You should hear and feel a positive engagement.
4. Repeat for Second Side: Attach the second ear defender to the opposite side of the helmet following the same procedure.
5. Verify Attachment: Gently pull on each ear defender to ensure it is securely fastened and does not easily detach.

5. Operating

To achieve optimal hearing protection, ensure the ear defenders are worn correctly:

1. Position Ear Cups: Once attached to the helmet, pivot the ear cups downwards so they fully cover your ears.
2. Adjust for Fit: The attachment arms allow for vertical adjustment. Slide the ear cups up or down until they comfortably enclose your entire ear and create a firm seal against your head. There should be no gaps around the ear cups.
3. Check Seal: If you wear glasses, ensure the temples of your glasses do not break the seal of the ear cushions. Adjust as necessary.
4. Remove: To remove, pivot the ear cups upwards and away from your ears. They can remain attached to the helmet for storage or be detached completely if needed.

Proper maintenance will extend the life of your Kask SC3 Ear Defenders:

• Cleaning: Clean the ear cups and cushions regularly with a mild soap and water solution. Use a soft cloth. Do not immerse the ear defenders in water.
• Drying: Allow the ear defenders to air dry completely before storage. Do not use heat to dry them.
• Inspection: Periodically inspect the ear cushions for cracks, hardening, or other signs of wear. Worn cushions can compromise the seal and reduce effectiveness. Replace cushions if necessary.
