Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for a quick and easy installation:
- Prepare the Transmitter:
- Using the supplied screwdriver, gently pry open the back cover of the transmitter.
- Locate the button cell battery inside. Peel off the protective seal on the battery to activate it.
- Mount the Transmitter: You have two options for mounting:
- Screws: Use the provided screws to securely attach the transmitter's back plate to your desired outdoor location (e.g., next to your front door). Ensure the surface is clean and dry before mounting.
- Adhesive Patch: For a non-drilling option, clean the mounting surface thoroughly. Peel off one side of the adhesive patch and stick it firmly to the back of the transmitter's back plate. Then, peel off the other side and press the transmitter firmly onto the desired clean, dry surface.
- Attach the Transmitter to the Back Plate: Once the back plate is mounted, align the transmitter with the back plate and snap it into place.
- Plug in the Receiver: Insert the receiver into any standard electrical outlet indoors. Ensure it is within the effective range of the transmitter.

Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your doorbell system:
- Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Transmitter Battery: The transmitter uses a 23A 12V alkaline battery. Replace it when the LED indicator on the transmitter no longer flashes or the range decreases significantly.
- Placement: Avoid placing receivers near large metal objects or strong electromagnetic fields, as this may reduce the wireless range.
