Thank you for choosing the QCY T9 Wireless Earphones. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your earphones to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Please read this manual carefully before use.

2. Setup

2.1 Initial Use: Removing Protective Film

Before first use, ensure you remove the transparent or yellow protective film from the charging contacts on both earbuds. Failure to do so will prevent charging and proper operation.

2.2 Earhook and Earcup Replacement

The QCY T9 earphones come with interchangeable earhooks and earcups to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. If the pre-installed earhooks feel uncomfortable or loose, you can replace them with the alternative sizes provided.

1. To remove an earhook, gently pull it away from the earbud, starting from the inner side.
2. Align the hole on the new earhook with the corresponding hole on the earbud and press firmly until it is securely attached.
3. To replace earcups, carefully peel off the existing earcup by turning it inside out.
4. Turn the new earcup inside out and carefully attach it to the earbud nozzle, ensuring it is fully seated. Be gentle as the nozzle is delicate.

2.3 Pairing with a Device

The QCY T9 earphones support automatic pairing for convenience.

1. Ensure both earbuds have the protective film removed and are charged.
2. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
3. On your device (smartphone, PC, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "QCY T9" from the list of found devices to connect.
5. Once connected, the earphones are ready for use.

3. Operating Instructions

The QCY T9 earphones feature physical buttons for control.

3.1 Basic Controls

• Play/Pause: Single press either earbud button.
• Next Track: Double press the right earbud button.
• Previous Track: Double press the left earbud button.
• Answer/End Call: Single press either earbud button.
• Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud button for 1 second.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Triple press either earbud button.

3.2 QCY App Functionality

Enhance your experience by downloading the QCY app. The app allows for custom equalizer settings and other personalized controls.

3.3 Single Earbud Mode

The QCY T9 supports TWS Plus, allowing you to use either the left or right earbud independently for mono audio or calls.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Charging the Earphones and Case

To charge the earphones, place them into the charging case. The case will automatically charge the earbuds. To charge the case, connect it to a power source using a USB cable. The charging case features an indicator to check the battery level.

4.2 Cleaning

Regularly clean the earbuds and charging case to maintain optimal performance. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe away dust and debris. For the charging contacts and earcup mesh, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with alcohol if necessary, ensuring no liquid enters the earbud openings.

5. Troubleshooting

• Earbuds not charging: Ensure the protective film has been removed from the charging contacts. Verify the charging case has power and the earbuds are correctly seated.
• Earbuds not pairing: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and the earbuds are in pairing mode (open the case). Try resetting the earbuds by placing them in the case, closing it, and then reopening.
• Only one earbud working: Check if the earbuds are properly paired in stereo mode. If using single earbud mode, ensure the other earbud is in the case or powered off.
• Poor sound quality or noise: Ensure the earbuds are clean and properly seated in your ears. Check for interference from other wireless devices.
• Earbuds not turning off automatically: If the charging case battery is too low, the earbuds may not automatically disconnect when placed inside. Ensure the case is charged.
