Setup

Charging the Battery

The SKIL 4V screwdriver is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Before first use, fully charge the battery.

1. Connect the micro USB charger to the charging port on the screwdriver.
2. Plug the USB charger into a compatible power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).

4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charger.

Installing Bits

The screwdriver features a slim bit grip collar for secure bit retention.

1. Select the appropriate bit for your task from the included 42-piece bit set.
2. Insert the bit into the chuck of the screwdriver until it clicks into place. The slim bit grip collar provides 4X magnetic force for secure holding.
3. To remove, simply pull the bit out firmly.

• To drive screws (forward rotation), press the upper part of the paddle switch.
• To remove screws (reverse rotation), press the lower part of the paddle switch.
