1. Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of your INTEX Easy Set 8ft x 24in Round Inflatable Above Ground Pool. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: DROWNING HAZARD

• Continuous and competent adult supervision of children and the disabled is required at all times.
• Never play or swim near suction fittings; your hair, body, and jewelry can get sucked into the drain. You could be held under water and drown.
• Do not jump or dive into the pool.
• Do not use the pool when using alcohol or drugs.
• Ensure the pool is set up on level ground to prevent collapse.
• Keep children under 5 at highest risk for drowning.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Site Preparation

1. Choose a completely flat and stable surface on grass, compacted dirt, or pavement. Avoid setting up on a slope or uneven ground.
2. Clear the area of any sharp objects, rocks, or debris that could puncture the pool liner.
3. Consider placing a ground cloth (not included) underneath the pool for added protection.

4.2 Pool Assembly

1. Spread the pool liner out on the prepared level ground. Ensure the drain plug is closed.
2. Inflate the top ring of the pool using an air pump (not included). Inflate until firm but not hard.
3. Begin filling the pool with water. As the water level rises, the pool walls will begin to rise and take shape.
4. Smooth out any wrinkles on the bottom of the pool from the inside as it fills. This ensures proper shape and stability.
5. Fill the pool to the indicated fill line, typically just below the inflatable top ring. Do not overfill.

5. Operating Instructions

Once the pool is properly set up and filled, it is ready for use. Always ensure adult supervision, especially for children. The pool is designed for recreational swimming and cooling off. For optimal water quality, consider purchasing and installing an appropriate filter pump system.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Water Treatment

To maintain clean and safe water, regular chemical treatment is necessary. Consult a pool supply professional for appropriate chemicals and dosages for your pool size. Always follow chemical manufacturer instructions.

6.2 Cleaning

Regularly remove debris (leaves, insects) from the water surface using a skimmer net. The pool floor can be cleaned with a pool vacuum designed for inflatable pools. If a filter pump is installed, ensure the filter cartridge is cleaned or replaced regularly according to the pump's instructions.

6.3 Draining and Storage

When not in use for extended periods or at the end of the season, drain the pool completely. The pool features a drain plug at the bottom for easy water release. Once drained, clean and dry the pool thoroughly before folding and storing it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Leaks

If a leak occurs, use the included repair patch. Locate the leak, clean the area, and apply the patch firmly. For underwater repairs, specialized underwater patches are available.

7.2 Uneven Water Level

An uneven water level indicates that the pool was not set up on a perfectly level surface. This can stress the pool walls and potentially lead to damage. If the unevenness is significant, it is recommended to drain the pool, re-level the ground, and set it up again.

7.3 Deflating Top Ring

Check the air valve on the top ring for a secure seal. If it continues to deflate, inspect for small punctures and use the repair patch as needed.
