3. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your IRIS USA Garment Rack. No tools are required.

This video provides a visual guide for assembling the IRIS USA Adjustable Single-Rod Garment Rack with Wheels and highlights its key features.
- Assemble the Base: Connect the two Bottom Cross Bars to the two Bottom Metal Pole Stands to form the rectangular base. Ensure they are fully inserted and secure.
- Insert Lower Vertical Poles: Insert the lower sections of the Extend Bars into the designated holes on the Bottom Metal Pole Stands. Push them down until they reach the indicated line.
- Fasten Locking Attachments: Slide the Connectors onto the top of the lower vertical poles. These will secure the upper sections.
- Insert Upper Vertical Poles: Insert the upper sections of the Extend Bars (the chrome-finished poles) into the Connectors.
- Lock Upper Uprights: Secure the upper vertical poles by engaging the locking mechanism on the Connectors. Repeat this on both sides.
- Attach Main Bar: Place the Cross Bar (top hanging rod) onto the top of the upper vertical poles. Ensure it sits firmly in the designated slots.
- Secure Connections: Apply gentle downward pressure on the main bar to ensure all connections are fully seated and secure. You can use your body weight for this.
- Attach Wheels: Insert the four wheels into the holes on the underside of the Bottom Metal Pole Stands. Push firmly until they click into place. Two of the wheels are lockable for added stability.

4. Operating Instructions
Adjusting Height
The hanging rod's height can be adjusted to accommodate various garment lengths. To adjust:
- Unlock the locking attachments on both vertical poles.
- Carefully raise or lower the upper chrome-finished poles to your desired height. The rod adjusts from 39.2 inches to 67.3 inches.
- Once at the desired height, securely lock the attachments on both sides to prevent the rod from slipping.

Moving the Garment Rack
The garment rack is equipped with smooth caster wheels for easy mobility.
- To move the rack, ensure the two lockable wheels are in the unlocked position.
- Gently push or pull the rack to its new location.
- Once in place, engage the locks on the two lockable wheels to secure the rack and prevent unintended movement.

Using the Bottom Shelf
The bottom shelf provides additional storage space for items such as shoes, bags, or folded clothing.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your garment rack:
- Cleaning: Wipe down metal and plastic surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Lubrication: If wheels become stiff, a small amount of silicone spray can be applied to the wheel axles.
- Storage: If storing the rack, ensure it is clean and dry. It can be disassembled for more compact storage if needed.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your garment rack, consider the following:
- Rack is unstable or wobbly:
- Ensure all poles and bars are fully inserted and locked into their connectors.
- Verify that the rack is placed on a flat, level surface.
- Check that the weight distribution of clothes is even and not exceeding the 44 lb capacity.
- Height adjustment mechanism is stuck:
- Ensure the locking attachments are fully disengaged before attempting to adjust the height.
- Check for any obstructions or debris within the pole mechanism.
- Wheels are not rolling smoothly:
- Check for hair or debris caught in the wheel axles.
- Ensure the lockable wheels are in the unlocked position.
