Setup
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging.
- Position the Station: Place the main pyrography soldering station on a stable, heat-resistant, and well-ventilated surface.
- Assemble the Handle Stand:
- Insert the 304 Stainless Steel Holder (spring) into the Bakelite Holder.
- Attach the assembled holder to the top of the main soldering station unit by aligning the tabs and pressing firmly until it clicks into place. This saves desktop space.
- Connect the Handle:
- Locate the professional thread locking power interface on the main unit.
- Align the connector from the soldering iron handle with this interface and gently push it in.
- Rotate the threaded collar on the handle connector clockwise to secure it firmly. Ensure a tight connection to prevent disconnections during use.
- Install a Tip:
- Ensure the unit is OFF and unplugged.
- Using the provided screwdriver, loosen the two set screws on the soldering iron handle's tip holder.
- Carefully insert your desired wood burning tip into the holder.
- Tighten the two set screws firmly to secure the tip. Do not overtighten.
- Power Connection: Plug the main unit's power cord into a standard 110V-127V/AC, 60Hz electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Flip the power switch on the main unit to the "ON" position. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Adjust Temperature: Rotate the temperature adjustment knob to select your desired temperature. The range is 250-750℃ (482-1382℉). Start with a lower temperature for testing and adjust as needed for your material and desired effect.
- Heating Time: The tool will heat up quickly, typically within 10 seconds. Allow a few moments for the tip to reach the set temperature.
- Begin Pyrography: Once the tip is hot, carefully touch it to your chosen material (wood, leather, etc.) to begin burning. Apply gentle, consistent pressure.
- Resting the Tool: When not actively burning, always place the hot soldering iron handle in the assembled handle stand to prevent accidental burns or damage to your workspace.
- Power Off: When finished, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Allow the tip to cool completely before handling or storing.
