The Eonon GMA12S is an 8-inch QLED touchscreen car stereo receiver designed for specific Chevrolet, GMC, and Buick models, featuring Android 13, wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
2. Applicable Models
The GMA12S head unit is compatible with the following vehicle models:
- Chevrolet: Silverado (2007-2013), Avalanche (2007-2013), Tahoe (2007-2014), Impala (2006-2013), Traverse (2008-2012), Suburban (2007-2012), Express Van (2008-2019)

Please ensure your vehicle's dashboard and radio plug match the compatible configurations shown in the image below. If your car radio plug is similar to the 'Not Fit' example, it is not suitable for installation.

5. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Eonon GMA12S car stereo. Professional installation is recommended.
5.1 General Installation
- Remove the Old Unit: Carefully remove the trim panel around your existing car stereo using a panel trim remover tool. Unscrew the mounting bolts and disconnect all wiring harnesses from the old unit.
- Connect Wiring Harnesses: Connect the provided Eonon wiring harnesses to your vehicle's factory harnesses. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect the GPS antenna, 4G antennas (if applicable), external microphone, and USB cables to the corresponding ports on the new head unit.
- Test Functionality: Before fully securing the unit, briefly turn on your vehicle to test the basic functions of the new stereo, including power, audio, and touchscreen response.
- Install the New Unit: Carefully slide the Eonon GMA12S into the dashboard opening. Secure it with the mounting bolts and reattach the trim panel.

5.3 Connecting a Backup Camera
Connect the backup camera to the dedicated input on the head unit. Ensure the reverse trigger wire is connected to the vehicle's reverse light +12V and the camera's GND wire is connected to the ground of the reverse light.

5.4 Connecting a Front Camera
Connect the front camera to the dedicated input on the head unit. Ensure the camera's power is connected to ACC (+12V) and the GND wire to ground.

5.5 Setting Up a SIM Card
To enable 4G LTE connectivity, insert a Micro-SIM card into the provided SIM card holder and connect it to the head unit. Some SIM cards may require APN settings configuration. Consult your SIM card service provider for details.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Software Updates

7.2 Cleaning the Screen

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Eonon GMA12S, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- No Power/Black Screen: Check all power connections. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is on. If the unit is unresponsive, locate the reset button (RST) on the unit and press it with a thin object (e.g., paperclip) for 10 seconds to restart.
- No Audio: Verify speaker connections. Check the volume settings on the stereo and your connected device. Ensure the amplifier is properly connected and powered.
