4. Setup Instructions

1. Connect Air Line: Attach one end of the air line (hose) to an air outlet on the pump.
2. Attach Air Stone: Connect the air stone to the other end of the air line.
3. Placement: Position the air pump above the water surface of your aquarium. This prevents water from siphoning back into the pump in case of power loss.
4. Install Check Valve (Crucial for Safety): If the air pump must be placed below the water surface, a check valve is essential. Cut the air line and insert the check valve in the middle, ensuring the airflow direction is correct (towards the air stone). 5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

Press the power button (indicated by a circle with a vertical line) once to turn the pump on or off.

5.2 Operating Modes

The pump offers two operating modes:

• Normal Mode: Press the power button once to activate continuous operation. On a full charge, this mode provides 14-18 hours of continuous air flow.
• Intermittent Mode: Press the power button a second time to switch to intermittent operation. In this mode, the pump works for 10 seconds and rests for 10 seconds, extending battery life to 25-28 hours on a full charge. The 'INT.' indicator light will illuminate when in this mode.

5.3 Charging and Battery Indicator

The pump can be charged using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the charging port on the pump and a suitable USB power source (e.g., power bank, USB adapter, computer USB port).
