  • PLAY/PAUSE / CALL RECEIVE Button: Controls music playback and phone calls.
  • TF CARD Slot: For inserting a MicroSD card to play music.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the DC/5V port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the larger end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate. Once fully charged, the light may change color or turn off.
  4. A full charge typically takes 2-3 hours.

5.2 Power On/Off

  • To power on, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. You will hear an audible prompt.
  • To power off, slide the ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

5.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by a flashing blue LED or an audible prompt). If not, press the MODE button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other audio device.
  3. Search for available Bluetooth devices. You should see "UBON SP-43" in the list.
  4. Select "UBON SP-43" to connect. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device if it is within range and Bluetooth is enabled.

5.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function

The TWS function allows you to pair two UBON SP-43 speakers together for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both UBON SP-43 speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet connected to any device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), long press the MODE button for 3-5 seconds. You will hear a pairing tone.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search and connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, connect your smartphone or audio device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 5.3.
  5. Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the VOL (+) button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the VOL (-) button.
  • Next Track: Long press the VOL (+) button.
  • Previous Track: Long press the VOL (-) button.

6.2 Call Handling

When connected to a smartphone via Bluetooth:

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
  • Reject Call: Long press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

6.3 Mode Switching

Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available input modes:

  • Bluetooth Mode
  • TF Card Mode
  • AUX Mode
  • FM Radio Mode

6.4 TF Card Playback

Insert a MicroSD (TF) card with MP3 audio files into the TF CARD slot. The speaker will automatically switch to TF Card mode and begin playback.

6.5 AUX Input

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop) to the AUX port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode or can be manually selected using the MODE button.

6.6 FM Radio

  1. Switch to FM Radio mode using the MODE button.
  2. Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Once scanning is complete, short press the VOL (+) or VOL (-) buttons to navigate between saved stations.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.

8. Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
Speaker does not power on. Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source using the USB cable.
No sound from the speaker. Check the speaker's volume level and your connected device's volume. Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, TF Card, AUX) is selected.
Bluetooth connection fails or disconnects frequently. Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode. Move your device closer to the speaker. Try unpairing and re-pairing the speaker from your device's Bluetooth settings.
Poor FM radio reception. Try repositioning the speaker to improve signal reception. Ensure you have performed an auto-scan for stations.
TWS pairing fails. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device. Repeat the TWS pairing steps carefully.
