Safety Information

Setup

- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the cooking surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Attach Temperature Control: Insert the detachable temperature control probe firmly into the receptacle on the side of the griddle. Ensure it is fully seated.
- Placement: Place the griddle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from walls or cabinets that could be damaged by heat.

Operating Instructions
- Power Connection: Plug the temperature control unit into a suitable 220V/240V electrical outlet.
- Temperature Setting: Turn the variable temperature control dial to your desired heat setting. The pilot indicator light will illuminate, indicating the griddle is heating.
- Preheating: Allow the griddle to preheat for approximately 5-10 minutes, or until the pilot light turns off, indicating the set temperature has been reached. The pilot light will cycle on and off during cooking to maintain the temperature.
- Cooking: Place food directly onto the large non-stick cooking surface (48 x 25 CM). The 2000 Watts ensure fast warm-up and efficient cooking.
- Cool-Touch Handles: The griddle features cool-touch handles for safe handling during and after cooking.
- Grease Collection: Excess grease will drain into the slide-out grease tray located beneath the cooking surface.
- After Use: Once cooking is complete, turn the temperature control dial to the 'OFF' position and unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Cool Down: Always allow the griddle to cool completely before attempting to clean.
- Remove Temperature Control: Detach the temperature control unit from the griddle. This unit is not dishwasher safe and should only be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
- Empty Grease Tray: Slide out the grease tray and dispose of collected grease. The grease tray is dishwasher safe.
- Griddle Plate Cleaning: The griddle plate is dishwasher safe. For best results, wash with warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. The premium non-stick surface ensures easy cleaning.

Troubleshooting
- Griddle not heating: Ensure the temperature control probe is fully inserted and the unit is plugged into a working 220V/240V outlet. Check the temperature dial is set above 'OFF'.
