5. Setup

  1. Placement: Place the sharpener on a stable, flat surface.

6. Operation

  1. Adjust Sharpness Setting: Locate the sharpness selector switch on the front of the sharpener. Slide it to your desired setting:
    • Blunt: For a less sharp, more durable point, suitable for younger users or general writing.
    • Sharp: For a fine, precise point, ideal for artists or detailed work.
  2. Insert Pencil: Gently insert the pencil into the sharpening hole. The sharpener will automatically adjust to the pencil's diameter (6-12mm).
  3. Sharpen: Press the pencil down firmly and hold it in place. The motor will start, and the pencil will be sharpened.
  4. Auto-Stop: The sharpener will automatically stop when the pencil has reached the selected sharpness. Remove the pencil.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Shavings Box

  1. Unplug: Disconnect the sharpener from the power outlet.
  2. Open Lid: Gently twist and lift the top lid of the sharpener to access the shavings box.
  3. Empty: Carefully empty the pencil shavings into a waste bin.
  4. Clean: Use a soft cloth or brush to remove any remaining dust or debris from the shavings box and around the blade area. Do not use water.
  5. Reassemble: Place the lid back onto the sharpener and twist to secure it.

7.2 Blade Replacement

8. Troubleshooting
