1. Product Overview

The ChunHee Wireless Call Button and Rechargeable Receiver system is designed to provide a reliable emergency alert solution for individuals requiring assistance, such as the elderly, patients, or pregnant women. This system ensures timely communication and care within a range of up to 150 meters (500 feet) in open areas.

The system includes a portable, rechargeable receiver and a waterproof call button. It features adjustable volume levels and multiple ringtone options to suit various environments and user needs.

2. Package Contents

Your ChunHee Wireless Call Button system (Set A) includes:

  • 1 x Rechargeable Receiver
  • 1 x Wireless Call Button (SOS button)
  • 1 x USB Charging Cable (for receiver)
  • 1 x Lanyard (for call button)
  • 1 x Adhesive Pad (for call button mounting)
  • 1 x Metal Pad (for magnetic receiver attachment)

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Charging the Receiver

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the receiver's charging port.
  2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included).
  3. The receiver's LED indicator will show a red light during charging. It will change color or turn off when fully charged.

3.2 Pairing the Call Button with the Receiver

The call button and receiver are typically pre-paired. If they are not responding or if you are adding a new button, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the receiver is charged and powered on.
  2. On the receiver, press and hold both the volume button and the music (ringtone selection) button simultaneously.
  3. The receiver will emit a "DING" sound, indicating it is in pairing mode.
  4. Immediately press the SOS button on the call button.
  5. The receiver will confirm successful pairing with another sound or light indication.

3.3 Placement Options

The call button and receiver offer flexible placement:

  • Call Button: Can be worn around the neck with the lanyard, attached to a wheelchair, or mounted on a wall using the adhesive pad. It is designed to be splash-proof (IP55 rated).
  • Receiver: Can be carried in a pocket, placed on a table, or magnetically attached to a metal surface using the included metal pad.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Sending an Emergency Alert

To send an emergency alert, simply press the red SOS button on the call button. The signal will be transmitted wirelessly to the receiver.

4.2 Receiving an Alert

When the receiver receives an alert signal from the call button, it will:

  • Emit an audible alarm (ringtone).
  • Flash its LED indicator (blue light for signal reception).

4.3 Stopping the Alarm

If the receiver is alarming and you wish to stop the sound, press the "OFF" button on the side of the receiver. This will silence the alarm without affecting the system's readiness for future alerts.

4.4 Adjusting Volume and Ringtones

The receiver offers 5 volume levels (0 dB to 130 dB) and 5 different ringtone types. Use the dedicated volume and music (ringtone selection) buttons on the receiver to cycle through the options and select your preferred settings.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

The receiver is equipped with a rechargeable battery. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:

  • Charge the receiver fully before first use.
  • Recharge the receiver when the low battery indicator (red LED) appears.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.

The call button uses an AAA alkaline battery (included). Replace the battery when the button's signal strength or responsiveness decreases.

5.2 Cleaning

Wipe both the call button and receiver with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the devices in water. While the call button is splash-proof, it is not designed for submersion.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Receiver Does Not Sound

  • Check Battery: Ensure the receiver is charged. If the red LED is on, charge the receiver.
  • Re-pair Devices: If the receiver does not respond to the call button, re-pair them using the instructions in Section 3.2.
  • Range: Ensure the call button is within the effective operating range of 150 meters (500 feet) from the receiver. Walls and other obstacles can reduce this range.
  • Volume Setting: Check if the receiver's volume is set to 0 dB (silent mode). Adjust the volume using the dedicated button.

6.2 Call Button Not Responding

  • Battery: Replace the AAA battery in the call button.
  • Re-pair Devices: Attempt to re-pair the call button with the receiver as described in Section 3.2.

6.3 Reduced Range

  • Obstacles: Large metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic devices can interfere with the wireless signal. Try repositioning the receiver or call button.
  • Battery Level: Low battery in either device can affect signal strength. Ensure both are adequately powered.
