4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Turn the feeder upside down.
2. Locate the battery compartment cover.
3. Open the cover and insert the required batteries (typically 4x C-size, not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Initial Placement

Place the feeder on a flat, stable surface in an area easily accessible to your pet, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure there is enough space around the feeder for your pet to eat comfortably.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Setting the Current Time

1. Press the Hr button to set the current hour.
2. Press the Min button to set the current minute.
3. The display will show the current time.

5.2 Programming Meal Times

The feeder allows you to program up to 5 distinct meal times. Each time you set a meal, the feeder will rotate to the next available compartment.

1. Press the H/S button (Hour/Set) to enter programming mode for the first meal. The display will show '1' for meal 1.
2. Use the Hr and Min buttons to set the desired feeding time for meal 1.
3. Press H/S again to confirm meal 1 and move to meal 2. The display will show '2'.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for meals 2 through 5.
5. After setting meal 5, press H/S one last time to exit programming mode. The feeder will return to displaying the current time.
6. To clear all programmed times, press and hold the Rst button for a few seconds until the display resets.

5.3 Filling the Food Compartments

1. Gently lift the lid of the feeder.
2. Fill each of the five compartments with the desired amount of dry kibble, wet food, or medication. Do not overfill.
3. Ensure the food does not obstruct the rotation mechanism.
4. Close the lid securely.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

6.1 Cleaning the Feeder
