Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included).
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals match the markings inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Setup / Automatic Searching Mode
This remote is designed to work with most compatible TCL TVs without extensive programming. If it does not work immediately, you may need to activate the automatic searching mode.

- To enter automatic searching mode: Press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds. The remote will begin searching for the correct code for your TV.
- To save the setting: When the TV displays a volume change or responds to a command, release the OK button immediately. This saves the detected code.
- To return to default mode: If the remote does not function correctly after setup, press and hold the POWER button and the 0 button simultaneously for 2 seconds. This will reset the remote to its factory default settings.
Operating Instructions
Once set up, the remote control functions similarly to your original TCL TV remote. Point the remote directly at your TV's infrared receiver.
- Power Button (⏻): Turns the TV on or off.
- Number Buttons (0-9): Directly input channel numbers.
- Volume Up/Down (VOL +/-): Adjusts the TV's volume level.
- Channel Up/Down (CH +/-): Changes the TV channel.
