Setup

1. Powering the Device

Your RCA Weather Station Alarm Clock can be powered in two ways:

  • USB Power: Connect the included USB power cable to the device and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a powered USB port. The display will remain continuously lit.
  • Battery Power: Insert 2 x AAA batteries (sold separately) into the battery compartment on the back of the unit. In battery mode, the display will enter power save mode and turn off after 8 seconds to conserve power. Press the "SNZ/LIGHT" button to temporarily light up the display.

  • MODE: Cycles through display modes or enters setting mode.

2. Alarm and Snooze Function

To set the alarm:

  1. Press the MODE button until the alarm time is displayed.
  2. Press and hold the SET button until the alarm hour flashes.
  3. Use the ADJ button to set the desired alarm hour.
  4. Press SET to confirm and move to the alarm minute.
  5. Use the ADJ button to set the desired alarm minute.
  6. Press SET to confirm and exit alarm setting mode.

When the alarm sounds, press the SNZ/LIGHT button to activate the snooze function. The alarm will sound again after a short interval. To turn off the alarm completely, press any other button.

3. MAX/MIN Temperature and Humidity Records

Press the MAX/MIN button to view the maximum and minimum recorded temperature and humidity values. Press it again to cycle through MAX, MIN, and current readings.

4. Weather Forecast

The weather forecast icon on the display is based on changes in ambient temperature and humidity detected by the device. It provides a general indication of expected weather conditions (e.g., sunny, cloudy, rainy). This is an indoor forecast and should not be used as a substitute for official weather reports.

Maintenance
