Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for safe and correct installation of your pendant lamp.
1. Preparation
- Turn off Power: Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power supply to the installation area is completely disconnected at the main circuit breaker.

- Tools Required: You will need a drill, screwdriver, wire strippers, and potentially a voltage tester.
2. Mounting the Ceiling Bracket
The lamp is designed for ceiling mounting. The suspension dimensions are 40 cm x 7 cm.

- Mark the desired position for the ceiling bracket on the ceiling. Ensure it is centered and aligned.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Insert appropriate wall plugs (if necessary for your ceiling type).
- Secure the ceiling bracket to the ceiling using the provided screws.
3. Wiring
This step must be performed by a qualified electrician.
- Connect the household electrical wires to the terminals on the ceiling bracket. Ensure correct polarity:
- Live (L) wire to the Live terminal.
- Neutral (N) wire to the Neutral terminal.
- Earth (PE) wire to the Earth terminal.
- Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.
4. Attaching the Lamp Body and Height Adjustment
The lamp's height is adjustable up to a maximum of 150 cm.
- Carefully lift the lamp body and connect it to the ceiling bracket.
- Adjust the suspension cables to achieve the desired height. Ensure the lamp is level.
- Secure the lamp body to the ceiling bracket according to the specific mechanism (e.g., tightening screws).
5. Final Check

- Restore power at the main circuit breaker.

Operation
The hofstein Winterthur LED Pendant Lamp features integrated LEDs and a convenient dimming function.
Turning On/Off
Use your standard wall light switch to turn the lamp on or off.
Dimming Function
This lamp is equipped with a 3-step dimming function that operates via a conventional light switch. No additional dimmer switch or accessories are required.

To cycle through the dimming levels:
- Turn the light switch ON: The lamp will illuminate at 100% brightness.
- Turn the light switch OFF and then ON again quickly: The lamp will switch to 60% brightness.
- Turn the light switch OFF and then ON again quickly: The lamp will switch to 20% brightness.
- Turn the light switch OFF and then ON again quickly: The lamp will turn OFF.
The lamp will remember the last selected dimming level if left off for a longer period, or it may reset to 100% depending on the duration of the off cycle.
Maintenance
