  1. Prepare the Sink: Turn off the water supply to the sink. Remove the old faucet if applicable. Clean the mounting surface thoroughly.
  2. Install Deck Plate (if needed): If your sink has three holes, place the deck plate over the holes. Apply a bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the base of the deck plate to create a watertight seal.
  3. Mount the Faucet: Insert the faucet body through the center hole (and deck plate if used). From underneath the sink, secure the faucet with the rubber washer, metal washer, and mounting nut. Hand-tighten first, then use an adjustable wrench to snug it up, ensuring the faucet is aligned correctly.
  4. Connect Water Supply Lines: Attach the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet body. Connect the other ends of the supply lines to your hot and cold water shut-off valves. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten connections, but do not overtighten.
  5. Install Pop-Up Drain: Follow the instructions provided with the pop-up drain assembly. Typically, this involves placing the drain body into the sink drain hole, applying sealant, and securing it from underneath with washers and a nut. Connect the drain linkage to the faucet if applicable (this model has a push-button pop-up drain, so no linkage).
  6. Check for Leaks: Once all connections are made, slowly turn on the main water supply. Check all connections for leaks. If any leaks are detected, tighten the connection slightly until the leak stops.

The Lordear Waterfall Bathroom Faucet features a single handle for controlling both water temperature and flow.

  • Water Flow Control: Lift the handle upwards to increase water flow. Push the handle downwards to decrease and turn off the water flow.
  • Temperature Control: Move the handle to the left for hot water. Move the handle to the right for cold water. Adjust the handle position between left and right to achieve the desired water temperature.
  • Waterfall Spout: The wide spout design creates a gentle waterfall effect, providing a smooth and splash-free water delivery.

Care and Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will help preserve the finish and functionality of your Lordear faucet.

  • Cleaning the Finish: Clean the matte black finish with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. Mild soap and water are generally sufficient.
  • Preventing Water Spots: Wipe the faucet dry after each use to prevent water spots and mineral buildup.
  • Ceramic Disc Valve: The ceramic disc valve is designed for long-lasting, drip-free performance. If you experience drips, ensure all connections are tight. If dripping persists, the valve cartridge may need inspection or replacement by a qualified professional.
