2. Setup and Installation
2.1 Unpacking
Remove all packaging materials, including foam and adhesive tape. Inspect the freezer for any shipping damage. Report any damage to the retailer immediately.
2.2 Location Requirements
- Place the freezer on a strong, level floor capable of supporting its weight when fully loaded.
- Ensure at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of space between the back and sides of the freezer and any adjacent walls for proper ventilation.
- Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources (e.g., stove, heater) that could increase energy consumption.
- The ambient temperature should be between 50°F (10°C) and 110°F (43°C).
2.3 Electrical Connection
Plug the freezer into a dedicated 110-volt, 60 Hz, 15-amp grounded electrical outlet. Do not use a two-prong adapter or an extension cord. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service technician.
2.4 Door Reversal
This freezer features a reversible door. Instructions for reversing the door swing are provided in a separate diagram or can be found on the manufacturer's website. This process typically involves removing the top hinge, transferring the door, and reattaching the hinges to the opposite side.
2.5 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the freezer with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Temperature Control
The temperature control dial is located inside the freezer compartment. Turn the dial to adjust the temperature. A setting of '4' or '5' is generally recommended for optimal freezing. Allow the freezer to operate for several hours before placing food inside to ensure it reaches the desired temperature.
3.2 Loading the Freezer
Do not overload the freezer. Allow space between items for cold air to circulate. Avoid placing hot food directly into the freezer; allow it to cool to room temperature first. The freezer is equipped with multiple shelves and door bins for organized storage.

3.3 Automatic Defrost
This freezer features an automatic defrost system, which eliminates the need for manual defrosting. Frost buildup on the interior walls is normal and will be periodically melted and drained. Ensure the drain pan (if accessible) is clear of obstructions.
3.4 Power Failure
In the event of a power failure, keep the freezer door closed to maintain the internal temperature for as long as possible. Most frozen foods will remain frozen for 24-48 hours if the door is not opened. Discard any food that has thawed completely.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Interior: Unplug the freezer before cleaning. Wash the interior surfaces, shelves, and door bins with a solution of two tablespoons of baking soda to one quart of warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a mild detergent and warm water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
- Door Gasket: Clean the door gasket regularly to ensure a proper seal. Use a soft cloth and mild soap.
4.2 Power Cord Inspection
Periodically inspect the power cord for any signs of damage. If the cord is damaged, discontinue use and contact a qualified service technician for replacement.
4.3 Long-Term Storage
If the freezer will not be used for an extended period, unplug it, empty all contents, clean the interior thoroughly, and leave the door ajar to prevent odors and mold growth.
