Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Inspect: Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all parts with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Allow to air dry completely.
- Assemble Inserts: Ensure both the top and bottom aluminum inserts are correctly placed within their respective plastic components. The bottom aluminum tray should sit securely in the bottom bowl, and the top aluminum insert should be rotated clockwise to lock into the top lid. Important: Do not use the Eggpod without both aluminum inserts.
Operating Instructions
- Add Water: Remove the top lid. Fill the included water measuring cup to the 50 mL line with water. Pour this water into the bottom bowl of the Eggpod. If the measuring cup is lost, a water line indicator is located inside the Eggpod. Never use the Eggpod without water.

Figure 3: Accurately measure 50 mL of water using the provided cup and pour it into the Eggpod's base.
- Place Eggs: Carefully place up to four eggs into the designated indentations in the aluminum tray within the bottom bowl.
- Secure Lid: Place the top lid onto the bottom bowl and lock the side snaps securely in place.
- Microwave Cooking: Place the assembled Eggpod into your microwave. Cook on HIGH for 9 minutes. Cooking times may vary based on your microwave's wattage and the size of the eggs. If eggs are not cooked perfectly, adjust cook time in 1-minute increments.
- Cooling Period: After microwaving, open the microwave door and allow the Eggpod to cool inside the microwave for 2 minutes. This helps to complete the cooking process and reduce steam.
- Cold Water Rinse: Carefully remove the Eggpod from the microwave using the locking tabs (it may still be hot). Place it in a sink and remove the top lid. Run cold water over the eggs for 2 minutes to stop the cooking process.
- Easy Peeling: To facilitate peeling, replace the top lid and lock the side snaps while the eggs are still in the cold water. Shake the Eggpod vigorously at least 10 times to crack the eggshells. Then, remove the lid and peel the eggs. The shells should come off easily.

Maintenance and Cleaning

- Washing: Wash all parts with warm, soapy water. The Eggpod is also made of dishwasher-safe material.
- Drying: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly or storage.
- Reassembly: To reassemble the top aluminum insert, align the three tabs with the three openings and turn clockwise to lock. Reinsert the bottom aluminum tray into the bottom bowl.

Troubleshooting
- Eggs Exploding/Cracking: This is often caused by not using both aluminum inserts or insufficient water. Always ensure both aluminum inserts are correctly in place and the water is measured accurately to the 50 mL line. Never operate the Eggpod without water.
- Eggs Not Cooked to Desired Consistency: Microwave wattages vary. Adjust cooking time in 1-minute increments until you find the ideal time for your specific microwave and egg size.
- Difficulty Peeling: Ensure the eggs are rinsed under cold water for the recommended 2 minutes and shaken vigorously (at least 10 times) with the lid on while still in the water.
