5. Operation

1. Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
2. Step onto the center of the scale platform with bare feet.
3. Stand still and wait for your weight to be displayed on the screen. The display will hold the reading for approximately 10 seconds before automatically turning off.
4. Step off the scale. The scale will automatically turn off to conserve battery life.

5.2. Recalibration (Zeroing the Scale)
