• The appliance features an automatic shutoff for safety and convenience.
• Use only cold, fresh water in the water tank.
• Do not open the brew head during the brewing process as hot water may escape.

Setup Guide

Initial Cleaning:

1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffee maker.
2. Wash the removable water tank, K-Cup pod holder, reusable mesh filter, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.

First Use (Cleaning Cycle):

1. Place the coffee maker on a stable, level surface.
2. Fill the removable water tank with fresh, cold water up to the MAX fill line.
3. Ensure no K-Cup pod or ground coffee is in the brew head.
4. Place a large mug (at least 15 oz) on the drip tray.
5. Plug the coffee maker into a standard electrical outlet.
6. Select the 15 oz brew size on the touchscreen and press the brew button to run a hot water cycle.
7. Discard the hot water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to thoroughly clean the internal components.

Operating Instructions

Brewing Coffee with K-Cup Pods:

1. Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh, cold water.
2. Lift the handle to open the brew head.
3. Insert a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder, ensuring it is seated properly.
4. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
5. Place your mug on the drip tray. The adjustable drip tray can be moved to accommodate various mug heights, including travel mugs.
6. Select your desired brew size (6 oz, 10 oz, or 15 oz) on the touchscreen.
7. The coffee maker will begin brewing. The pressurized pump design ensures maximum flavor extraction.
8. Once brewing is complete, the machine will automatically shut off. Carefully remove your mug.
9. Lift the handle to remove and discard the used K-Cup pod.

Brewing Coffee with Ground Coffee:

1. Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh, cold water.
2. Lift the handle to open the brew head.
3. Place the reusable mesh filter into the brew head.
4. Add your desired amount of ground coffee to the reusable mesh filter. Do not overfill.
5. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
6. Place your mug on the drip tray.
7. Select your desired brew size (6 oz, 10 oz, or 15 oz) on the touchscreen.
8. The coffee maker will begin brewing. The pressurized pump design prevents grounds from entering your cup.
9. Once brewing is complete, the machine will automatically shut off. Carefully remove your mug.
10. Lift the handle to remove the reusable mesh filter for cleaning.

Hot Water Dispensing:

The BELLA Single Serve Coffee Maker can also dispense hot water for other beverages like tea or instant oatmeal.

1. Ensure the water tank is filled with fresh, cold water.
2. Ensure no K-Cup pod or ground coffee is in the brew head.
3. Place your cup or bowl on the drip tray.
4. Select your desired water volume (6 oz, 10 oz, or 15 oz) on the touchscreen.
5. The machine will dispense hot water.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your coffee maker.

Daily Cleaning:

• Always unplug the coffee maker before cleaning.
• Remove and empty the K-Cup pod holder or reusable mesh filter after each use. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
• Remove and empty the drip tray. Wash with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
• Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• Empty any remaining water from the water tank if the machine will not be used for an extended period.

Descaling (Recommended Monthly or Bi-Monthly):

Mineral deposits from water can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descaling helps remove these deposits.

1. Fill the water tank with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
3. Run several 15 oz brew cycles until the water tank is empty. Do not insert any K-Cup pods or ground coffee.
4. After the tank is empty, fill it with fresh, cold water and run several more 15 oz cycles to rinse out any vinegar residue.
5. Repeat the fresh water rinse cycles until no vinegar odor remains.
