3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your tablet using the provided USB cable and power adapter. The battery indicator on the screen will show charging progress.

3.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the Power button (refer to Figure 2.3) until the Lenovo logo appears.
  • To power off: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Power off" from the options on the screen.
  • To restart: Press and hold the Power button, then select "Restart" from the options.

3.3 Initial Setup Wizard

Upon first power-on, the tablet will guide you through the initial setup process:

  1. Select Language: Choose your preferred language.
  2. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password. A stable internet connection is required for updates and Google account setup.
  3. Copy Apps & Data: You can choose to transfer data from another device or set up as new.
  4. Google Account: Sign in with your existing Google account or create a new one. This is necessary for accessing the Google Play Store and other Google services.

  • Pinch-to-Zoom: Use two fingers to zoom in or out on images and web pages.

4.2 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Connectivity

  • Wi-Fi: Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi. Turn Wi-Fi on, select your network, and enter the password if required.
  • Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth on, then pair with compatible devices like headphones or speakers.

The tablet features both front and rear cameras. Open the Camera app from your home screen or app drawer. Tap the shutter button to take photos or switch to video mode to record. Use the icon on the screen to switch between front and rear cameras.

  • Reduce screen brightness.
