5. Setup
5.1 Physical Installation
- Mounting: Choose a dry, stable location near your aquarium. The unit can be wall-mounted using the keyhole slots on the rear panel.

5.2 App Installation and WiFi Connection

Note: If you experience difficulty connecting, ensure your mobile device is connected to the 2.4GHz band of your router. Some routers combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands; temporarily disabling the 5GHz band on your router during setup can often resolve connection issues.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Pump Calibration
Before initial use and periodically thereafter, each pump head must be calibrated to ensure accurate dosing volumes.
- Prepare for Calibration: Place the outlet tube of the pump you wish to calibrate into a measuring cylinder or container with precise volume markings.
- Initiate Calibration: In the Jebao app, navigate to the settings for the specific pump channel and select the calibration option.
- Run Pump: The app will prompt you to run the pump for a set duration (e.g., 1 minute) or to dispense a specific volume (e.g., 10ml).
- Measure and Adjust: After the pump runs, measure the actual volume dispensed. Enter this value into the app. The app will then adjust the pump's internal settings for accuracy.
