2. Mounting the Camera
The camera is designed for ceiling mount installation. For optimal performance and weather protection, consider mounting under an overhang or eve if installing outdoors.
- Choose a suitable mounting location that provides the desired field of view and is within range of your 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network or a wired network connection.
- Position the base mount, aligning the cable channel with the desired cable exit point.
- Mark the drilling points for the mounting screws.
- Drill pilot holes and secure the base mount using the provided screws. Use low-profile screws due to the base's thinness.
- Before final mounting, it is recommended to test the camera and rotate the lens to the midpoint of your desired view area to ensure proper alignment after twist-locking the camera unit onto the base.
- Attach the camera unit to the secured base by twist-locking it into place.
3. Power and Network Connection
- Power: Connect the provided power adapter to the camera's power interface and plug it into a suitable power outlet.
- Wired Connection (Optional): For a stable connection, connect an RJ45 CAT5 or CAT6 Ethernet cable to the camera's network cable interface.
- Wireless Connection: The camera supports 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi. Ensure your Wi-Fi network is active and within range.
4. Initial Configuration
The camera can be configured via the "CamHipro" mobile app or PC software.
- Download the "CamHipro" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions for quick 2.4G Wi-Fi setup.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your EVERSECU camera, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Camera Not Connecting to Wi-Fi:
- Ensure the camera is within range of a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi network. 5Ghz networks are not supported.
- Verify the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly.
- Restart your router and the camera.
- No Image/Video Feed:
- Check power connection.
- Verify network connectivity (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
- Ensure the "CamHipro" app or PC software is up to date.
- If using a web browser, ensure necessary plugins are enabled (though older OCX plugins may pose security risks).
- PTZ (Pan/Tilt/Zoom) Issues:
- If pan/tilt is slow or not reaching full capacity, check for physical obstructions.
- Ensure the camera's firmware is up to date.
- A camera reboot might resolve temporary control issues.
- Motion Detection Not Working or False Alarms:
- Adjust motion detection sensitivity in the app settings.
- Ensure the detection area is properly configured.
- Check if the SD card is inserted correctly and has sufficient space if recording locally.
- Poor Image Quality / Shadow on Sensor:
- Clean the camera lens and dome.
- If a persistent shadow is present, it may indicate internal dust or contamination, which might require professional service or replacement.
- Audio Issues (No Sound or Poor Quality):
- Ensure the microphone and speaker are not obstructed.
- Check audio settings in the app.
- Note that the speaker sound can be tinny and the mic may pick up wind noise, especially outdoors.
- Camera Reboots Frequently:
- Ensure a stable power supply.
- Check for overheating.
- Consider a factory reset if the issue persists, then reconfigure.
- Initial Setup in Chinese Language:
- Access the camera's web interface or app settings and locate the language option to switch to English.
