Setup

1. Attaching the Lens (if applicable)

Align the mounting mark on the lens with the mounting mark on the camera body. Rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks into place.

2. Inserting the Battery

Open the battery chamber cover on the bottom of the camera. Insert the EN-EL15c battery with the orange lock facing the correct direction until it clicks into place. Close the battery chamber cover.

3. Inserting Memory Cards

The Nikon Z 5 supports dual SD UHS-II card slots. Open the memory card slot cover on the side of the camera. Insert the SD cards into the slots until they click. Ensure the cards are inserted correctly to avoid damage. Close the cover.

4. Attaching the Strap

Thread the AN-DC19 strap through the strap eyelets on the camera body as shown in the strap's separate instructions.

Operating the Camera

Power On/Off

To power on the camera, rotate the power switch located around the shutter button to the 'ON' position. To power off, rotate it to 'OFF'.
