Basic Photography
- 24.3MP Full-Frame Sensor: The Z 5 features a 24.3MP full-frame sensor for sharp, lifelike details and vibrant colors.
- Eye-Detection Autofocus: The camera automatically locks onto the eyes of people, dogs, and cats, tracking them as they move around the frame. This feature enhances portrait and pet photography.
- 5-Axis In-Body Image Stabilization: Capture steady handheld videos and sharp photos. This system allows for shooting at slower shutter speeds in low light without causing camera blur.
- 4K/30p and 1080/60p Video Recording: Record crisp, smooth videos with shallow depth of field. The camera supports USB power delivery and HDMI output for external monitoring.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Camera Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body. For stubborn dirt, use a cloth lightly dampened with water or a commercially available camera cleaner.
- Cleaning the Lens: Use a lens brush to remove dust, then gently wipe with a lens cleaning cloth. Avoid touching the lens surface with your fingers.
- Sensor Cleaning: If dust or smudges appear on images, the image sensor may need cleaning. This is a delicate procedure; it is recommended to have this done by a professional Nikon service center.
- Battery Care: Store the battery in a cool, dry place when not in use. Charge the battery fully before extended periods of non-use and recharge every six months to prevent degradation.
