Operating Instructions
Once the vacuum bag and filter are correctly installed, your vacuum cleaner is ready for use. Operate your vacuum cleaner according to its manufacturer's instructions.
When to Replace the Vacuum Bag:
- Replace the vacuum bag when it is full. Many vacuum cleaners have an indicator light or gauge that signals when the bag needs changing.
- If you notice a significant decrease in suction power, even if the bag does not appear completely full, it may be time to replace it. Overfilled bags or bags with compacted dust can restrict airflow.
- For optimal performance and hygiene, it is recommended to replace the bag regularly, especially if vacuuming fine dust or pet hair.
Bag Closure Flap:
Each MohMus vacuum bag is equipped with a dust closure flap. Before removing a full bag, slide the flap to seal the opening. This feature helps to contain dust and allergens within the bag, preventing spills during disposal.
Maintenance
Vacuum Bags:
MohMus vacuum cleaner bags are designed for single use and are disposable. Do not attempt to empty and reuse bags, as this can compromise filtration efficiency and hygiene. Dispose of used bags according to local waste disposal regulations.
Universal Filters:
The universal filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months, or more frequently if you notice a decrease in vacuum performance or an increase in dust emissions. These filters are not washable and should be replaced when dirty.
Troubleshooting
Reduced Suction Power:
- Check Bag Fullness: The most common cause of reduced suction is a full vacuum bag. Replace the bag if it is full or appears to be restricting airflow.
- Inspect Filters: A clogged motor protection filter or exhaust filter can also reduce suction. Check the universal filter and replace it if it is dirty.
- Hose/Nozzle Blockage: Ensure there are no blockages in the vacuum cleaner hose, wand, or nozzle.
Dust Leakage:
- Bag Installation: Ensure the vacuum bag is correctly and securely installed in its compartment, with no gaps around the collar.
- Compartment Seal: Check that the vacuum cleaner's dust compartment lid is fully closed and sealed.
- Filter Placement: Verify that the universal filter is properly seated in its compartment.
