Product Overview

The KZ ZST X In-Ear Monitors feature an upgraded dynamic hybrid dual-driver system, designed for high-fidelity audio reproduction. They are equipped with a detachable cable for versatility and ease of maintenance.

Key Features:

• 10mm Double Magnetic Dynamic Unit: Provides clean sound with speed and strength, suitable for electroacoustic and drum & bass music.
• 30095 High-Frequency Balanced Armature Unit: Positioned at the front to reduce high-frequency loss and enhance detail, especially for instrumental music.
• Standard 100-Core High Purity Silver-Plated Wire: Improves transparency, separation, and sound field. Features high-strength Kevlar fiber to minimize signal loss and distortion.
• Ergonomic Design: Custom-made cavity based on human auricle shape, with lightweight, noise-isolating soft silicone earbuds for comfort and effective external noise reduction. Ear-hook design ensures secure fit.
• Detachable 2PIN 0.75MM Cable: Allows for multiple connectivity options, upgrades, and simplified maintenance.

Setup

1. Attaching the Detachable Cable:

1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) earphone units and cable connectors. The cable connectors have two pins.
2. Align the pins on the cable connector with the corresponding sockets on the earphone unit. Ensure correct orientation to avoid damage.
3. Gently push the cable connector into the earphone unit until it is securely seated. Do not force the connection.
4. Repeat for the other earphone unit.

2. Wearing the Ear Monitors:

1. Insert the earphone unit into your ear canal.
2. Guide the ear-hook portion of the cable over the top and behind your ear. This design helps secure the earphones in place and reduces microphonics.
3. Adjust the earphone unit and ear-hook for a comfortable and secure fit. A proper seal is crucial for optimal sound quality and noise isolation.

Operating Instructions

1. Connecting to an Audio Source:

• Plug the 3.5mm jack of the earphone cable into the audio output port of your device (smartphone, tablet, computer, audio player, etc.).
• Ensure the connection is firm.

2. Using the Microphone (if applicable):

• If your model includes a microphone, it will be integrated into the cable.
• For calls or voice commands, ensure your device recognizes the earphone's microphone as the input source.
• Use the inline control (if present) to answer/end calls or play/pause music.

3. Volume Control:

• Adjust the volume directly from your connected audio device.
• Avoid listening at excessively high volumes for prolonged periods to prevent hearing damage.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning the Ear Tips:

• Gently remove the silicone ear tips from the earphone units.
• Clean the ear tips with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water.
• Ensure ear tips are completely dry before reattaching them to the earphones.

2. Cleaning the Earphone Units and Cable:

• Wipe the earphone units and cable with a dry, soft, lint-free cloth.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Keep the 2-pin connectors clean and dry.

3. Storage:

• When not in use, store the earphones in their carrying case to protect them from dust and physical damage.
• Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
