Setup

Charging Your Speaker

Before first use, fully charge your Braven BRV-X/2 speaker. A full charge provides up to 21 hours of playtime.

1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the speaker.
2. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
3. Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
4. The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

Powering On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until you hear an audible tone and the LED indicator lights up.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until you hear an audible tone and the LED indicator turns off.

Operating

Bluetooth Pairing

Connect your Braven BRV-X/2 to a Bluetooth-enabled device.

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on. The LED indicator will flash, indicating it is in pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), go to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Select "BRV-X/2" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

Audio Playback

Control your music directly from the speaker or your connected device.

• Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause button.
• Volume Adjustment: Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons.

USB Charge Out

The BRV-X/2 can act as a power bank to charge other devices.

• Connect your device's charging cable to the USB-A output port on the BRV-X/2.
• The speaker will begin charging your device. Note that using this feature will reduce the speaker's playtime.

Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth, you can use the speaker for phone calls.

• Answer Call: Press the Play/Pause button once.
• End Call: Press the Play/Pause button once during a call.
• Reject Call: Press and hold the Play/Pause button.

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

Pair two BRV-X/2 speakers together for a true stereo sound experience.

1. Ensure both BRV-X/2 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
2. On the first speaker (which will be the left channel), press and hold the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds until you hear a tone.
3. On the second speaker (right channel), press and hold the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds until you hear a tone.
4. The speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the LED indicators will confirm the TWS connection.
5. Now, connect your device to the first speaker via Bluetooth as described in the "Bluetooth Pairing" section. Audio will play in stereo across both speakers.

Maintenance

Waterproof Care (IPX7)

The BRV-X/2 is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. To maintain its waterproof integrity:

• Ensure all port covers are securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.
• After exposure to water, especially saltwater or chlorinated water, rinse the speaker with fresh water and allow it to air dry completely before opening any port covers or charging.
