Setup

1. Loading Rounds

  1. Locate the side-loading internal magazine on the blaster.
  2. Insert the 12 Official Nerf Rival rounds one by one into the magazine until it is full.

2. Priming the Blaster

  1. Grasp the priming bolt located on the top of the blaster.
  2. Pull the priming bolt all the way back until it clicks into place.
  3. Push the priming bolt forward to prepare the blaster for firing.

Operating the Blaster

Firing a Round

  1. Ensure the blaster is loaded and primed.
  2. Disengage the trigger lock (if engaged). The trigger lock is a small switch near the trigger.
  3. Aim the blaster at your target.
  4. Press the trigger to fire one round.

Utilizing the Curve Shot Feature

The Sideswipe XXI-1200 Blaster features a rotating muzzle that allows you to adjust the trajectory of your shots.

  1. Locate the rotating muzzle at the front of the blaster.
  2. Turn the muzzle to select your desired curve:
    • Left Curve: Rotate the muzzle to direct rounds to curve left.
    • Right Curve: Rotate the muzzle to direct rounds to curve right.
    • Straight Shot: Align the muzzle for a straight trajectory.
    • Downward Curve: Rotate the muzzle to direct rounds to curve downward.
  3. Once the desired curve is set, aim and fire as usual.

  • Blaster not fully primed.
  • Trigger lock engaged.

  • Ensure the priming bolt is pulled back and pushed forward completely until it clicks.
  • Disengage the trigger lock.
  • Use only Official Nerf Rival rounds. Replace any damaged rounds.
  • Check the magazine and barrel for obstructions and clear them carefully.
Rounds not curving as expected.
  • Muzzle not correctly rotated.
  • Rounds are worn or damaged.
  • Ensure the muzzle is rotated to the desired curve setting (left, right, or down).
  • Use new, official Nerf Rival rounds for optimal performance.
