5. Setup
5.1 Power Connection
- Connect the Micro USB cable to the USB port on the back of the radio.
- Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible 5V USB power adapter (not always included) and then into a wall outlet.
5.2 Antenna Extension
Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal radio reception. Adjust its position to improve signal strength if needed.
5.3 Initial Power-On and Scan
- Press the Power/Volume knob to turn on the radio.
- Upon first use, the radio will typically enter DAB mode and perform an automatic scan for available stations. This process may take a few minutes.
- Once the scan is complete, the radio will display the first available station.

6.1 DAB/DAB+ Radio

- Select DAB Mode: Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until 'DAB' is displayed.
- Scan for Stations: If no stations are found or you wish to rescan, press the MENU button, navigate to 'Full Scan' using the rotary knob, and press the knob to confirm.
- Select Station: Rotate the Power/Volume knob to browse through the list of available DAB stations. Press the knob to select a station.
- Save Presets: To save a station, press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-4+). Select a preset number using the rotary knob and press the knob to confirm. The radio supports up to 20 presets.
- Recall Presets: Briefly press a preset button (1-4+) to recall a saved station.
6.2 FM Radio
- Select FM Mode: Press the SOURCE button repeatedly until 'FM' is displayed.
- Auto Scan: Press and hold the MENU button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The radio will stop on the next available station.
- Manual Tuning: Briefly press the MENU button, then rotate the Power/Volume knob to fine-tune the frequency.
- Save Presets: Similar to DAB mode, press and hold a preset button (1-4+), select a number, and confirm.
- Recall Presets: Briefly press a preset button (1-4+) to recall a saved station.
6.3 Personal Listening (Headphone Jack)

- Snooze Function: When an alarm sounds, briefly press the Power/Volume knob to activate snooze. The alarm will pause for a set period (usually 5-10 minutes) and then sound again.
- Stopping Alarm: To stop an alarm completely, press and hold the Power/Volume knob when the alarm is sounding.
- Sleep Timer: Press the MENU button, navigate to 'System Settings' then 'Sleep'. Select the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60 minutes). The radio will automatically turn off after the selected time.
6.5 Display Brightness
