3. Setup and Installation

3.2. Installation Steps
- Preparation: Ensure the vehicle's battery is disconnected before starting installation.
- Remove Old Unit: Carefully remove the existing car radio from the dashboard.
- Connect Wiring: Connect the supplied AC111 wiring loom to the vehicle's wiring harness and then to the TR7412UB-OR head unit. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Mounting: Slide the TR7412UB-OR into the mounting DIN sleeve until it clicks into place.
- Reconnect Battery: Reconnect the vehicle's battery.
- Test Functionality: Turn on the vehicle and test the radio's functions (power, audio, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, radio tuning).

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Controls

- Power On/Off: Press the VOL/U/I knob (1) briefly to turn on. Hold for more than 2 seconds to turn off.
- Volume Control: Rotate the VOL knob (1) to adjust volume.
- Source Selection: Press SRC (3) to cycle through sources: Radio, USB (when inserted), AUX IN, Bluetooth (A2DP).
- Band Selection: Press BAND AST (4) to switch between FM1, FM2, FM3, MW1, MW2, and LW bands.
- Display Information: Press DISP (6) to view different information such as clock, PTY info, song name, etc.
- Track/Station Navigation: Use the ◀◀ and ▶▶ buttons (7) to change radio stations or tracks.
- Preset Stations: Use buttons 1-6 (15) to select preset stations. Hold a button to save the current station to that preset.
4.2. Bluetooth Operation
- Pairing: Select Bluetooth source using SRC button. The display will show "A2DP" or "WELCOME". On your mobile device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "VDO Continental". Enter PIN if prompted (usually "0000").
- Hands-Free Calling: Once paired, calls can be answered/ended using the MP3 folder ahead/Hang up button (10).
- Audio Streaming: Play music from your paired device. Use the radio's track navigation buttons (7) to control playback.

- USB: Insert a USB drive into the front USB slot (9). The radio will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playback of compatible audio files (MP3, WMA).
