Setup and Installation

Warning: Ensure the main power supply is switched off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.

1. Prepare the Installation Area: Choose a suitable outdoor location for the wall light. Ensure the mounting surface is flat and sturdy. Consider the dimensions of the fixture for proper placement.

2. Mark Drilling Points: Carefully remove the mounting bracket from the light fixture. Hold the bracket against the wall at the desired installation point and mark the drilling holes with a pencil.
3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type. Insert the provided wall plugs into the drilled holes.
4. Secure Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly secured.
5. Electrical Connection: Connect the household wiring to the terminal block on the light fixture. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth) according to local electrical codes. All connections must be secure.
6. Attach Fixture Body: Carefully align the light fixture body with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure all seals are properly seated to maintain the IP44 rating.
7. Install Bulb: Insert an E27 bulb (max 60W, not included) into the lamp holder. Do not overtighten.

8. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all components are securely fastened, restore power at the circuit breaker. Test the light fixture.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off

The Hofstein Tieva Outdoor Wall Light is operated via your standard wall switch connected to the fixture's power supply. Flip the switch to turn the light on or off.

Bulb Replacement

Warning: Always switch off the main power supply before replacing the bulb.

1. Ensure the light is off and has cooled down completely.
2. Carefully remove the glass shade or access panel to reach the E27 lamp holder.
3. Unscrew the old E27 bulb counter-clockwise.
4. Screw in a new E27 bulb (max 60W) clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.
5. Reattach the glass shade or access panel, ensuring it is securely fastened to maintain the IP44 rating.
6. Restore power and test the new bulb.

Dimming Functionality

This fixture supports external dimmers (not included). If you wish to use a dimming function, ensure your E27 bulb is dimmable and that a compatible external dimmer is installed by a qualified electrician.
