1. Product Overview

The MoKo Smart WiFi LED Spot Light Bulb is a versatile GU10 base smart bulb designed to enhance your home lighting experience. It offers 16 million RGB colors, along with adjustable cool and warm white light (2700K-6500K). This smart bulb can be controlled via a smartphone application or voice commands through compatible smart home assistants.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Physical Installation

  1. Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off before installation.
  2. Carefully screw the MoKo GU10 smart bulb into the GU10 socket.
  3. Turn on the power to the light fixture. The bulb should blink rapidly, indicating it is in pairing mode. If it does not blink, turn it off and on 3-5 times until it starts blinking.

2.2 App Setup and Pairing

  1. Download the "Smart Life" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Open the app and tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to add a device.
  4. Select "Lighting" > "Light Source (Wi-Fi)" or allow the app to auto-discover the device.
  5. Confirm that the bulb is blinking rapidly. If not, reset it by turning it off and on 3-5 times.
  6. Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password. Note: The bulb only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks; 5GHz networks are not compatible.
  7. Wait for the app to connect to the bulb. Once connected, you can rename the bulb for easier control.

2.3 Integrating with Voice Assistants

To control your MoKo smart bulb with voice commands, link the Smart Life app to your preferred voice assistant (Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings).

  1. Open your Alexa, Google Home, or SmartThings app.
  2. Navigate to the "Skills" or "Works with Google" section.
  3. Search for and enable the "Smart Life" skill.
  4. Log in with your Smart Life account credentials when prompted.
  5. Discover devices. Your MoKo smart bulb should now appear and be controllable via voice commands.

3.1 App Control

Once paired, the Smart Life app provides comprehensive control over your MoKo smart bulb:
