4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Compatibility

  • Compatible Transmitters: FS-i6X, NV14, PL18, iT4S, i10, and above. Note: FS-CAT01 cannot be used with I6/I6X transmitters, but the FS-CEV04 itself is compatible with i6X.

4.2 Physical Connection

  1. Connect to Receiver: Connect the FS-CEV04 to the i-BUS port of your compatible Flysky receiver (e.g., iA4B, iA6B). Ensure the polarity is correct. For iA10 receivers, a specific conversion cable may be required.
  2. Connect Telemetry Modules (Optional): If you are using additional telemetry modules (FS-CPD01, FS-CTM01, etc.), connect them in a daisy-chain fashion to the i-BUS port of the FS-CEV04. Refer to the specific module's manual for connection order if applicable.
  3. Power Supply: The FS-CEV04 draws power from the receiver, which should be supplied within the 4.0-6.5V DC range. Ensure your power source meets these requirements.

4.3 Binding

The FS-CEV04 acts as an extension to your main receiver. Ensure your primary receiver is correctly bound to your transmitter. The FS-CEV04 does not require a separate binding process; it will communicate through the i-BUS protocol once connected to a bound receiver.
