1.3 Initial Power On
Once all connections are made, ensure the vehicle's power supply meets the requirements (12V/24V DC, current higher than 1.5A). Power on the MDVR. The system will display a loading screen on the monitor.
2. Operating
2.1 10.1" IPS Touch Screen Monitor
The system features a 10.1-inch IPS touch screen with a 1280x800 resolution for clear visuals. Navigate menus easily with touch controls or the wireless mouse. The monitor supports horizontal/vertical flip for any channel and multi-mode display options.

2.2 Recording Features
- Loop Recording: The DVR supports 8-channel 1920x1080 @30fps real-time loop recording. It utilizes H.265 coding for maximized storage efficiency without compromising quality.
- Motion Detection: Configure motion detection areas and alarm schedules. The system activates alarms only when the engine is off, providing security.
- G-sensor: A built-in G-sensor detects sudden movements like hard acceleration, abrupt braking, speeding, and impacts, automatically saving key event footage.

- Remote Live View: Monitor live video feeds from your PC, web browser, or iOS/Android smartphone using the CMSV7 app.
- Playback & Download: Remotely play back recorded footage and download videos for review.
- GPS Tracking: The built-in GPS module precisely positions the vehicle and records location information within the video stream, allowing for track playback.
- Geo Fence: Set up virtual geographic boundaries and receive alerts if the vehicle deviates from predefined routes.

3. Maintenance
3.1 Durable Design
The MDVR unit features an aluminum die-cast chassis with a fanless design, ensuring durability and adaptability to various working environments. The cameras are IP68 waterproof, built with full metal, and include IR LEDs for reliable night vision.

3.2 Storage Management
The DVR supports pluggable 2.5-inch HDD/SSD storage up to 4TB and two SD card slots supporting up to 1TB each (memory cards not included). Regular backup of important footage is recommended. Ensure SD cards are formatted periodically for optimal performance.
3.3 Power Management
The system supports delay recording for up to 24 hours after vehicle shutdown (drawing power from the vehicle's battery) and includes 8-second backup via built-in capacitors to save critical footage during power interruptions.
4. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check all power connections, ensure the voltage is 12V/24V DC and current is above 1.5A. Verify the power cable is securely plugged into the DVR.
- No Camera Display: Ensure all camera cables are securely connected to the AV IN ports. Check individual camera connections. If a camera is dimming, try disconnecting and reconnecting it.
- Recording Issues: Verify that SD cards and/or HDD/SSD are correctly installed and locked. Ensure sufficient storage space is available. Format storage devices if necessary.
- 4G/WiFi/GPS Connectivity: Ensure antennas are tightly connected. For 4G, verify the SIM card is correctly inserted and the APN settings are configured according to your SIM card provider. For WiFi, ensure you are connecting to a 2.4G WiFi hotspot.
- Remote App (CMSV7) Issues: Ensure the MDVR has active 4G or WiFi internet connectivity. Verify account login details and change the default password upon first login.
