Safety Information
Adherence to these safety guidelines is crucial to prevent injury and ensure the longevity of your bunk bed.
- Maximum Weight Capacity: The top bunk is designed for a maximum weight of 200 pounds. The bottom bunk and trundle also have a maximum weight capacity of 200 pounds each. Do not exceed these limits.
- Age Recommendation: The top bunk is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
- Guardrails: Always use the guardrails on the top bunk. Ensure they are properly installed and secured.
- Mattress Size: Use only mattresses that comply with the recommended dimensions for each bed. For the top bunk, use a twin-size mattress. For the bottom bunk, use a full-size mattress. For the trundle, use a twin-size mattress. Ensure the mattress thickness does not exceed the maximum height indicated by the guardrail safety label.
- Assembly: Assemble the bed strictly according to the instructions provided. Do not use power tools for assembly unless explicitly stated, as over-tightening can damage components.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and fasteners to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten as necessary.
- No Horseplay: Prohibit horseplay on or under the bed.
- No Jumping: Do not allow jumping on the bed.
- Ladder/Stairs Safety: Always use the provided stairs for entering and exiting the top bunk. Do not use alternative methods.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the bed.
- Lighting: Provide sufficient lighting near the top bunk for safe use at night.
- Prohibited Items: Do not attach or hang items to any part of the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed, such as hooks, belts, or ropes, as they can pose a strangulation hazard.

Setup and Assembly Instructions
Assembly requires at least two adults. Clear a large area for assembly. Do not fully tighten bolts until all components are loosely assembled.
Step 1: Assemble the Bottom Full Bed Frame
Attach the full-size side rails to the full-size headboard and footboard using the provided bolts and washers. Ensure all connections are secure but do not fully tighten yet.

Step 2: Assemble the Top Twin Bed Frame
Similarly, assemble the twin-size side rails to the twin-size headboard and footboard. This will form the upper bunk structure.
Step 3: Install Bed Slats
Place the wooden slats onto the support ledges of both the full and twin bed frames. Secure them with screws as indicated in the hardware diagram. Ensure even spacing for optimal mattress support.

Step 5: Attach Top Bunk to Bottom Bunk and Staircase
Carefully lift the assembled twin bed frame and position it on top of the full bed frame. Secure it using the designated connection points and hardware. Then, attach the staircase unit to the top bunk, ensuring a stable and secure connection.

Step 6: Install Guardrails
Attach all guardrails to the top bunk as per the instructions. Ensure they are firmly secured to prevent accidental falls.
Step 7: Assemble the Trundle Bed
Assemble the trundle bed frame and install its slats. If your model includes drawers, attach them to the trundle frame. Slide the assembled trundle under the bottom full bed.

Step 8: Final Tightening and Inspection
Once all components are in place, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten. Perform a final inspection to ensure all parts are correctly assembled and secure before use.
Operating Instructions
- Using the Top Bunk: Access the top bunk using the integrated staircase. Always ensure guardrails are in place.
- Using the Trundle Bed: To use the trundle bed, gently pull it out from under the bottom bunk. Push it back in when not in use to save space.
- Using Storage Shelves: The shelves integrated into the staircase can be used for books, small toys, or other personal items. Do not overload shelves.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish.
- Hardware Check: Periodically (e.g., every 3 months) check all bolts, screws, and fasteners. Re-tighten any loose hardware to maintain structural integrity.
- Wood Care: Protect the wood finish from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes.
- Mattress Rotation: Rotate mattresses regularly to ensure even wear and extend their lifespan.
