1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use. Retain this manual for future reference.

• For a safe and secure installation, ensure that the electrical box to which this fixture will be mounted is properly attached to a structural member of the building.
• All wires are connected. When unpacking, be careful not to pull with wires as a bad connection may result.
• Do not connect electricity until your fixture is fully assembled.
• To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or personal injury, always turn off and unplug the fixture and allow it to cool prior to replacing the light bulb.
• Do not touch the bulb when the fixture is turned on or look directly at a lit bulb. Keep flammable materials away from a lit bulb.
• This product is designed for indoor use only.

2. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present and undamaged before proceeding with assembly.

Note: Bulb is NOT included and must be purchased separately.

3. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to assemble your LITFAD Modern Floor Light.

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a clean, flat surface to ensure no parts are missing or damaged.
2. Assemble Lamp Pole: Connect the individual lamp pole sections by twisting them clockwise until securely tightened. Ensure the electrical wire passes freely through the pole sections without pinching.
3. Attach Pole to Base: Securely attach the assembled lamp pole to the lamp base by twisting it clockwise.
4. Install Light Socket Assembly: Carefully guide the electrical wire through the lamp pole and connect the light socket assembly to the top of the pole. Ensure all connections are firm.
5. Attach Lamp Shade: Place the fabric cylinder shade onto the light socket assembly. Secure it in place using the provided shade ring, twisting it clockwise onto the socket threads until snug.
6. Install Bulb: Insert a compatible bulb (E26/E27 base, LED/Incandescent/Fluorescent type, max 40W) into the light socket. (Bulb not included).
7. Position and Connect Power: Place the assembled floor lamp in your desired indoor location. Plug the power cord into a standard AC110-120V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The LITFAD Modern Floor Light features a touch control switch for easy operation.

• Turning On/Off: Gently touch the designated area on the lamp base or pole to turn the light on or off.
• Bulb Type: This lamp is compatible with LED, Incandescent, or Fluorescent bulbs with an E26/E27 base. Ensure the bulb wattage does not exceed 40 watts.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will help prolong the life and appearance of your floor light.

• Cleaning: Disconnect the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the metal base and pole. For the fabric shade, use a lint roller or a soft, slightly damp cloth to gently clean any dust or marks. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Bulb Replacement: Always ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulb has cooled down completely before attempting to replace it. Unscrew the old bulb counter-clockwise and screw in the new compatible bulb clockwise.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your floor light, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Lamp Does Not Turn On:
  • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the electrical outlet.
  • Verify that the wall switch (if applicable) is in the 'ON' position.
  • Ensure the bulb is correctly installed and not burnt out. Replace the bulb if necessary.
  • Check the circuit breaker for the outlet.
• Light Flickers:
  • Ensure the bulb is screwed in tightly.
  • Try a different bulb to rule out a faulty bulb.
  • Check for loose connections in the lamp assembly.
• Shade is Wobbly:
  • Ensure the shade ring is securely tightened onto the light socket.
