Setup and Initial Charging

Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the YELOMIN Solar Charger using a wall adapter to ensure optimal performance.

1. Connect to Power: Open the protection cover and connect the provided USB cable to either the Type-C or Micro USB input port on the power bank.
2. Plug into Adapter: Plug the other end of the USB cable into a compatible USB wall adapter (not included) and then into a power outlet.
3. Monitor Charging: The LED power indicators will illuminate to show the charging progress. All four blue LEDs will be solid when fully charged. A green light will indicate solar charging is active.

Operating Instructions

Charging External Devices:

1. Connect Device: Use your device's charging cable to connect it to one of the USB output ports on the power bank.
2. Initiate Charging: The power bank will automatically begin charging your device. The blue LED indicators will show the remaining battery level.
3. Simultaneous Charging: The power bank supports charging two devices simultaneously.

Solar Charging:

The solar panel provides an emergency charging option. For primary charging, use a wall adapter. Solar charging efficiency depends on sunlight intensity.

• Place the solar panel directly under strong sunlight.
• A green LED indicator will light up when solar charging is active.
• For best results, ensure the solar panel is clean and unobstructed.

Using the Flashlight:

The integrated dual LED flashlights offer three lighting modes:

• Normal Mode: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the flashlight.
• SOS Mode: Press the power button once more to switch to SOS flashing mode.
• Strobe Mode: Press the power button a third time to activate strobe mode.
• Turn Off: Press the power button a fourth time to turn off the flashlight.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. For the solar panel, use a slightly damp cloth to remove dust and debris to maintain charging efficiency.
• Storage: Store the power bank in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
• Regular Charging: To prolong battery life, fully charge the power bank at least once every three months, even if not in regular use.
• Avoid Drops: While shockproof, avoid unnecessary drops or impacts to prevent internal damage.
• Water Exposure: The device is IPX4 splash-proof, meaning it can withstand splashes of water. Do not submerge it in water. Ensure port covers are securely closed when exposed to moisture.

Troubleshooting

• Device Not Charging:
  • Ensure the power bank has sufficient charge. Check the LED indicators.
  • Verify that the charging cable is securely connected to both the power bank and your device.
  • Try a different charging cable or device to rule out cable or device issues.
  • Ensure the power bank is turned on (press the power button).
• Solar Charging is Slow/Not Working:
  • Solar charging is supplementary and slower than wall charging. It is designed for emergency use.
  • Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct, strong sunlight. Indirect light or cloudy conditions will significantly reduce efficiency.
  • Clean the solar panel surface from any dust or obstructions.
  • Avoid placing the device behind glass, which can block UV rays needed for solar charging.
• Flashlight Not Working:
  • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to activate the flashlight.
  • Ensure the power bank has sufficient battery charge.
• Power Bank Not Recharging:
  • Check the USB cable and wall adapter. Try a different cable or adapter.
  • Ensure the input port (Type-C or Micro USB) is clean and free of debris.
