Important Safeguards

Setup

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed. Wash the removable grill plates and drip tray in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. The main unit should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

1. Insert Drip Tray: Slide the drip tray into the designated slot at the front of the grill base. Ensure it is fully inserted.
2. Attach Grill Plates: Align the removable grill plates with the heating elements on the top and bottom of the grill. Press down until they click securely into place.
3. Position Grill: Place the grill on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.

Operating Instructions

The Digital Smart Select Grill offers precise control over your cooking. Follow these steps for optimal results:

1. Power On: Press the power button on the digital control panel.
2. Set Temperature: Use the temperature controls (up/down arrows) to select your desired cooking temperature. Available settings typically include 350°F, 375°F, 400°F, and 425°F.
3. Preheat: Allow the grill to preheat until the temperature indicator shows it has reached the set temperature. This usually takes a few minutes.
4. Place Food: Carefully open the grill and place your food on the bottom grill plate. The family-size cooking surface accommodates 4-6 servings.
5. Set Timer (Optional): Use the timer controls to set a cooking duration. The grill will automatically shut off or alert you when the time is complete.
6. Close Lid: Gently close the lid. The floating hinge design allows the top plate to adjust to the thickness of your food, ensuring even cooking.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your grill. The removable parts are designed for easy cleaning.

1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the grill from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove Grill Plates: Press the release buttons on the side of the grill to detach the top and bottom grill plates.

Troubleshooting
