5. Setup

5.1 Connecting to a Display Device

The WST-977B DVD player offers two main ways to connect to your television or projector: HDMI or AV (RCA) cables.

HDMI Connection (Recommended for High Quality):

  1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT port on the DVD player.
  2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to an HDMI IN port on your TV or projector.
  3. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV/projector using its remote control.

AV (RCA) Connection:

5.2 Power Connection

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Disc Playback

  1. Press the Power button to turn on the DVD player.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the front panel or remote control to open the disc tray.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive (up to 32GB) into the USB port on the front panel of the DVD player.
