  • To open: Gently pull the drawer handle outwards.
  • To close: Push the drawer firmly until it latches securely into place.

5.2. Locking Mechanism

The internal keyed locking system secures all drawers simultaneously.

  • To lock: Insert the key into the lock cylinder on the top drawer and turn clockwise until all drawers are secured. Remove the key.
  • To unlock: Insert the key and turn counter-clockwise.

5.3. Mobility and Braking

The cabinet is designed for easy movement with its heavy-duty casters.

  • To move: Release the brakes on the locking casters. Use the side handle to push or pull the cabinet to the desired location.
  • To secure: Once in position, engage the brakes on the locking casters by pressing down on the lever.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Drawer Slides: Periodically inspect drawer slides for debris. If drawers become stiff, apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the slides.
  • Drawer Liners: Clean non-slip liners as needed with soap and water. Ensure they are dry before placing them back in the drawers.
  • Casters: Check casters periodically for debris or wear. Clean as necessary to ensure smooth rolling.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Drawers are stiff or difficult to open/close: Check for overloading. Ensure no items are obstructing the drawer slides. Lubricate slides if necessary.
  • Cabinet feels unstable or tips easily: Ensure the cabinet is on a level surface. Redistribute contents to balance weight. Avoid opening multiple drawers simultaneously, especially heavy ones.
  • Missing key: Contact Husky customer support for assistance with replacement keys.
