Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to set up your PHYSEN Wireless Doorbell:

1. Install Transmitter Battery

The transmitter uses a 23A 12V alkaline battery (included). Ensure it is correctly inserted. The battery has an extremely long lifespan of up to 3 years.

2. Position Receivers

Plug each receiver into a standard electrical outlet in your desired locations. The receivers are designed to be plug-and-play.

3. Mount Transmitters

Choose a suitable outdoor location for your transmitters. Avoid placing them directly on metal surfaces, as metal can interfere with the signal and shorten the transmission range. You can mount the transmitters using either:

• Double-sided Adhesive Tape: Peel off the protective film and firmly press the transmitter onto a clean, dry surface.
• Screws: Use the provided screws and wall anchors to securely attach the transmitter to your wall or door frame.

The transmitters are IP55 waterproof, ensuring reliable operation in various weather conditions, including temperatures from -20°C to 60°C.

Operating Instructions

1. Changing Ringtones

1. Plug the receiver into an electrical outlet.
2. Press the "Up" or "Down" button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the 58 available melodies until you find your desired ringtone.

2. Pairing Transmitters with Receivers

To pair a transmitter with a receiver (or to change the ringtone for a specific transmitter):

1. Select your desired ringtone on the receiver using the "Up" or "Down" buttons (as described above).
2. Long press the "Volume" button on the receiver for approximately 5-7 seconds until you hear a "Ding" sound and the indicator light flashes rapidly. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
3. Quickly press the push button on the transmitter you wish to pair. When you hear the chosen ringtone, the pairing is successful.

3. Pairing Multiple Transmitters/Receivers (Fast Method)

To pair additional transmitters or receivers quickly:

• Pairing more transmitters with a receiver: Select the desired ringtone on the receiver. Then, long press the "Volume" button on the receiver until it "dings" and flashes. Quickly press each additional transmitter button to pair them.
• Pairing more receivers with a transmitter: Select the desired ringtone on each receiver. Then, on each receiver, simultaneously press and hold the "Down" button and the "Volume" button until it "dings" and flashes. Quickly press the transmitter button to pair it with all receivers.

4. Adjusting Volume and Modes

The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0 dB (silent mode with LED flash only) to 110 dB. The volume can be adjusted using the dedicated volume button on the receiver. The system also features a memory function that retains your last selected melody and volume settings even after a power outage.

Maintenance

• Battery Replacement: The transmitter battery (23A 12V) typically lasts up to 3 years. Replace it when the transmitter's performance diminishes.
• Cleaning: Wipe the doorbell units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Environmental Conditions: While the transmitter is IP55 waterproof, extreme conditions can affect performance. Ensure it is not submerged in water.

Troubleshooting

• Doorbell not ringing:
  • Check if the receiver is properly plugged into a working power outlet.
  • Ensure the transmitter battery is not depleted.
  • Re-pair the transmitter and receiver following the "Pairing Transmitters with Receivers" instructions.
  • Verify that the volume is not set to 0 dB (silent mode).
• Reduced operating range:
  • Metal objects can interfere with the signal. Try relocating the transmitter away from large metal structures.
  • Thick walls or other electronic devices may cause interference.
• Unwanted ringing:
  • Clear the original matching code: Long press the 'Down' button on the receiver for about 5 seconds. The receiver will "ding" with the indicator blinking, confirming the original matching code is cleared. Then re-pair your desired transmitters.
