Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your microwave oven.

  • Cleaning the Interior: Regularly wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent after each use to prevent food splatters from drying and hardening. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for a few minutes to create steam, then wipe clean.
  • Cleaning the Exterior: Clean the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
  • Glass Tray and Roller Ring: The glass tray and roller ring can be removed for easy cleaning. Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the microwave.
  • Odor Removal: To remove odors, combine a cup of water with a few tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 5-7 minutes, then let it sit for a few minutes before wiping the interior clean.
  • Door Seal: Keep the door seal clean to ensure proper closure and efficient operation.
