3. Setup and Installation

3.2 Dimensions and Chimney Adjustment

The range hood dimensions are 30 in. (W) x 19 in. (D) x Adjustable 25.5 in. - 36.3 in. (H). The adjustable and telescoping chimney is designed to fit ceilings between 7.5 and 8.5 feet. An optional extra extension chimney (Model: FGS-TD24B-ZST, sold separately) is available for ceilings between 9 and 10 feet.

3.3 Ducted vs. Ductless Operation

The range hood supports both exhaustion (ducted) and recirculation (ductless) modes. For ducted operation, connect the 6-inch round top vent to an external ducting system. For ductless operation, ensure the included charcoal filters (CC110) are installed to purify the air before recirculating it back into the kitchen.

4. Operating Instructions

The range hood features user-friendly 5-button controls for fan speed and lighting.

• Power Button (0/On/Off): Press to turn the unit on or off.
• Fan Speed Buttons (1, 2, 3): Select desired fan speed (Low, Medium, High) based on cooking intensity.
• Light Button: Press to turn the LED lights on or off.

4.2 LED Lighting

The range hood is equipped with two 1.5W LED lights to illuminate your cooking area, providing warm and bright light while being energy efficient.

4.3 Exhaust Fan

The 3-speed exhaust fan with 450 CFM effectively removes smoke and odors, reducing damage to your skin and health. The fan operates at less than 54dB at high speed for ultra-quiet operation.

5.1 Cleaning Filters

The range hood is equipped with superior multi-layer aluminum filters (Model: FGS-TF2290-LW) that effectively trap grease and oil. These filters are dishwasher safe and reusable. For ductless operation, the included CC110 charcoal filters should be replaced periodically based on usage.

5.2 Exterior Cleaning

Clean the black painted stainless steel exterior with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could scratch the finish.
