4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Placement

  • DC Power (12V/24V): Connect the DC power cord to the unit's DC input port and then to your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
  • AC Power (100-240V): Connect the AC adapter to the unit's AC input port, then plug the AC cord into a standard wall outlet.

Note: The unit can be pre-cooled using AC power before transferring to DC power for travel.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel allows you to power the unit on/off, adjust temperature, and select operating modes.

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off.
  • Set Button: Press to cycle through settings (e.g., battery protection mode).
  • Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjust the desired temperature.
  • Display: Shows current temperature, set temperature, and battery voltage.

5.2 Temperature Setting

  1. Turn on the unit using the power button.
  2. Use the Up (+) and Down (-) buttons to set your desired temperature. The display will flash the set temperature and then return to showing the current internal temperature.
  3. The unit will automatically begin cooling or heating to reach the set temperature.

5.3 MAX and ECO Modes

The unit features two operating modes for energy efficiency:

  • MAX Mode: Provides maximum cooling power for faster temperature reduction.
  • ECO Mode: Optimizes energy consumption for longer run times, ideal when power conservation is critical.

To switch between modes, press the Set button until "MAX" or "ECO" appears on the display, then use the Up/Down buttons to select your preferred mode.

5.4 Car Battery Protection

The Alpicool G22 includes a three-stage battery protection system to prevent your vehicle's battery from draining completely.

  • H (High): Highest protection level. The unit will cut off power at a higher voltage to ensure maximum battery reserve. Recommended for starting batteries.
  • M (Medium): Medium protection level. A balanced setting for most applications.
  • L (Low): Lowest protection level. Allows the unit to run longer, but carries a higher risk of battery drain. Recommended for auxiliary batteries.

To adjust the battery protection level, press the Set button until the battery icon flashes, then use the Up/Down buttons to select H, M, or L.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning
